- What locations and subject matter did you choose to shoot for your photos? I shot a variety of different things, including a street in Boston with traffic, my cat, a view off of a bridge in Providence, intersecting walls in my basement stairway, my front door and the windows next to it, and the stairs to my basement.
- Describe the photos you took: The photos I took are all very precise and angular for the most part. Most of them include exact lines and angles.
- What is the distance in the shot? (How close or far away are you from your subject?) On the image of the intersecting walls, the distance is relatively close but still far away.
- What was your point of view when you took the photos? (from above, below, straight on...) All of the images are shot from straight ahead except the one of the stairs, which is shot from above.
- Are your photographs horizontal or vertical? A combination
- Did you consider the rule of thirds to compose your shots? In which photos? Describe. Yes because the subjects of my photos are not centered but expand over the photo or are not in the center of the image.
- Which one of of your photos is a dynamic composition that successfully leads the viewer’s eye through the work? The intersecting walls image.
